The 2008 NY/NJ Leadership Conference will give all participants and those who reference this site a unique opportunity to learn and participate in developing action plans that will assist all SCORE volunteers in making SCORE the best known and most respected source of assistance and mentoring to the small business community.
There will be three primary areas of concentrations for the 2008 NY / NJ Leadership Conference:
MARKETING- what is needed and how to develop an action plan for the Chapter to enhance its marketing and attract a broader base of clients, potential SCORE volunteers and make SCORE better recognized in its communities.
MEMBERSHIP-will include developing an action plan for enhancing membership, to better serve the ever changing client base, for managing and operating the Chapter and enhancing the quality of the services performed.
MONEY/RESOURCES-The process to raise the money and resources necessary to properly carry out the Marketing and Membership Action Plans, will be discussed and an action plan will be developed in this third area of concentration.
The Marketing, Membership and Money/Resources Action Plans will all be combined and each participant will be able to bring back to their chapters a way to attract more and varied clients, volunteers and have SCORE known as the premier source of assistance and mentoring to the small business community in their service area.
All the participants, with a little help from our panels of experts, will be involved in developing the Action Plans
